At Jardim Botanico.

MariaC.Torres: Welcome! My name is Maria Torres. I'm a rising senior at the Department of Landscape Architecture, at Rutgers University. My colleague and I were fortunate to receive the Roy DeBoer travel prize scholarship. We will be going to Rio De Janeiro Brazil to look at some examples of architecture and landscape architecture featured by world-wide known, landscape archictect Roberto Burlex-Marx and Oscar Niemeyer. We will also look at other examples of public places and study them, based on how they are used and who uses them. We will observe the behavior of individuals in spaces, and how behavior changes when art is implemented in a particular space.
